She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Proehl and Marie Proehl (Wagner); her husband Gordon; her son-in-law Jeff Dahlberg; her brothers, Lowell and Henry "Hank" Proehl; and her half-siblings, Edmund Proehl and Cornelia Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Dahlberg, Mary Jo Messelt (Tom), Nancy Rensvold (Doug), Susan Muehlberger (Tom) and Scott Dobberstein (Insaf); her grandsons, Tim Messelt (Katie) and Matthew Messelt; her children, Eric Rensvold (Rebecca), Laura Tognetti (Colby), Kari Carlson (Jon), Sara Rheaume (Tom), Lisa Muehlberger, Elliott and Yanees Dobberstein; her great grandchildren, Coen and Zoe Messelt; her grandchildren, Jaxon, Easton Rensvold, Greyson, Tayler Tognetti, Logan, Connor, Molly Carlson, John Thomas Sundberg and Levi Rheaume; and her niece Carol Leske.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Serenity Assisted Living and Care Center, Hospice of the Red River Valley, Alzheimer's Association, Gary Community Event Center or a charity of your choice in June's memory.
