She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Halland and Gina Halland (Ramberg); her husband Burton Thronson; her son-in-law Shirley; her grandsons, Joshua, Blake and Michael; and her siblings, Lloyd, Stanley, Dennis, Millard, Doris Jaeger and Bernice McCollum.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Kjono (Gary) of Fargo, ND, Lynette Prestegaard of Fargo, ND, Kimberly Jenson (Arnie Campbell) of Gary, David Thronson (Rita) of Gary, Byron Thronson (Lori) of Gary, Bradley Thronson (Elena) of Gary and Dalen Thronson (Belinda) of Gary; and her brothers, Lester Halland (Darlene) of Bejou, MN and Phillip Halland (Gloria) of Fargo. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
Following all Covid-19 safety protocols, social distancing will be practiced, and all must wear a mask to participate.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking all memorials be made to either the Gary Rescue Squad or Gary Fire Department.
