We bid farewell to Ralph Warren Townsend of Garfield, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 26, 2025 at the age of 79. Ralph Warren touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Townsend (Brackin) and Max Townsend; and his former wife Helen Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Townsend; his sons, Michael Townsend (Jewel) and Jay Townsend (Cindy Elton); his grandchildren, Bethy Hedine (Johnny), Lillian Roering, Megan Townsend, Daniel Townsend and Gracie Pollock; his brother Tom Townsend (Cindy); his nieces, Heidi Henderson (Todd Jordahl) and Amy Sigsworth (Joe); and also, Katie, Andrew, Adam, Sophie and James. He is also survived by her 14 great-grandchildren, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many other beloved family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home (659 Voyager Dr, Alexandria, MN 56308). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the East Moe Lutheran Church (3531 E Moe Rd NW, Garfield, MN 56332).
