He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ziesemer and Amanda Ziesemer of Canada; his children, Dawn Marie and Troy Joseph; his wife Karen Thorson; and his siblings, Mary, Beatrice, Gene, Helen and Richard.
He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Ziesemer of Gulfport, FL; his grandchildren, Corey Ziesemer of Sebeka, MN and Jessica Anderson (Dustin) of Fargo, ND; and his great grandchildren, Brooke, Dawson, Kalen Anderson of Fargo, ND and Hailey Ziesemer of Fergus Falls, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
