It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon Wenzel (Fulda, Minnesota), who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. For Vernon is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Wenzel and Emma Wenzel (Janssen); his wife Leann Dalin; and his brother Leland Wenzel. He is survived by: his children, Babette Thorsen (Randy) of Fergus Falls, MN, Jock Wenzel (Lisa Jo) of Albert Lea, MN and Berry Wenzel (Stacy Reding) of Tacoma, WA; and his siblings, Mary Kuiper and Arden Wenzel (Karen). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (400 N Maryland Ave, Fulda, MN 56131). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
