He is survived by: his wife Clara Fuerstenberg of Wilmont, MN; his children, James Fuerstenberg (Shelley) of Wilmont, MN, Christine Lee (Steve) of Ogden, IA, Marvin Fuerstenberg (Margie) of Luverne, MN, Barbara Mergen (Roger) of Albany, MN, Joan Joens (Jim) of Wilmont, MN, Sharon Giugler (Gary) of Windom, MN, Robert Fuerstenberg (Teresa) of Wilmont, MN, Glenn Fuerstenberg (Kristi) of Sioux Falls, SD, Lois Harberts (Mike) of Reading, MN, Gail Kingery (Bruce) of Reading, MN and Jerry Fuerstenberg (Heather) of Austin, MN; and his brothers, LeRoy Fuerstenberg (Janet) of Wilmont, MN and Dave Fuerstenberg (Pat) of Ham Lake, MN. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 605 4th Ave, Wilmont, MN 56185. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
