He is survived by: his children, Randy Dierks (Denise) of Fulda, MN, Pam Behr of Detroit Lakes, MN and Sandy Holinka (Barry) of Fulda, MN; his grandchildren, Erin (Scott), Ted (Shontai), Matthew (Angie), Eric (Amanda), Joseph, Mickey (Carlos), Karli (Ross), Martha (Zach) and Anthony; and his brothers, Arvin Dierks (Leona) and Jerry Dierks (Melinda). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
