She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Gibb and Gertrude Gibb (Bentz); and her sister Audrey Kolander. She is survived by: her husband Dan Nielsen of Fulda, MN; and her children, Brian Nielsen (Rachel Stevens) of Fulda, MN, Brenda Nielsen of Trimont, MN, Emily Nielsen of Fulda, MN, Dan Nielsen (Amber) of Worthington, MN and Lili Nielsen of Fulda, MN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
