With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arliss Hein of Fulda, Minnesota, born in Hartley, Iowa, who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Arliss may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hein and Sylvia Hein (Broesch); his spouse Cleone Meyer; and his great grandchildren, Kale and Madden.
He is survived by: his children, Colleen Bestge (Al) of Fulda, MN, Randy Hein (Unhui Gunderman) of Brewster, MN, Pam Berger (Calvin) of Worthington, MN, Susan Haskins (Craig) of Ventura, CA, Brad Smith (Shari) of Talbot, TN and Karie Karr (Kris) of Fort Dodge, IA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (400 N Maryland Ave, Fulda, MN 56131). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
