He was predeceased by: his wife Leona; and his parents, Simon and Sophie. He is survived by: his children, Carol Kapala (Jay), Janice Atkinson (Tim Guilfoil), Gary Maciej (Cathy), Susan Kapala (Mark), Faye Teigland (Randy), Pam Maciej and Tim Maciej (Alisa); his grandchildren, Jessica, Joe, Cally, John, Robby, Michelle, Kyle, Reid, Brittany, Alex, Michael, Zach, Abby and Hanna; and his niece Mary Ann Morawczynski. He is also survived by 10 great- grandchildren.
