He was predeceased by: his father Narine Datt. He is survived by: his wife Bibi "Janet"; his children, Atesh Datt, Shivani Datt, Darren Datt and Rachel Datt; his granddaughter Leanna; his mother Sthanawati Datt; and his siblings, Louleen, Naline, Suren, Ravi, Ovie, Vinita and Sharlah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends.
