He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia "Ginny"; his parents, Edward Soderstrom and Mildred Soderstrom; his brother Ronald Soderstrom; and his brother-in-law Lyle Berghuis.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan Soderstrom (Nancy) of Colorado Springs, CO, Avis Soderstrom of Blaine and Chris Soderstrom (Jennifer) of Winter Garden, FL; his grandchildren, Alaina Keller (Brett), Grant Soderstrom (Gianna), Laura Gangl (Kyle), Luke Soderstrom (Tamara Smalley), Jonathan and Anna Soderstrom; his great grandchildren, Erik, Laila, Josiah and Emily; his siblings, Arlen Soderstrom (Gloria), Merlin Soderstrom (Ione) and Betty Berghuis; and his sister-in-law Judy Soderstrom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
