With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Kempe of Fridley, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Kempe to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Kempe and Martha Kempe; his sisters, Dorothy Erickson (Don) and June Ristrom (Burt); and his pet Mattie.

He is survived by: his significant other Lori; his children, Ericka Craig (Grant), Jeff Martin (Cari), Jeni Seitz (Troy), Tracy Lilledahl (Tony Osterdyk), Joe Martin (Natalie), Paul Martin (Meghan) and Leah Youngquist (Curt); his grandchildren, Dylan, Emily, Sophie, Jackson, Riley, Gabriella, Macy, Anika, Caden, Jasper, Avery, Zach, Everett, Olivia, Josh and Owen; his great grandchild Kenzlee; and his siblings-in-law, Patty Buffington (Rod), Mike Lutz (Cindy), Greg Lutz (Cathy) and Ray Lutz (Cheryl). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family in Sweden and many life long friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapel-Blaine (1385 107th Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55434). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.

“To the family of Dick( I always called him “Dicky). I grew with Dick in our neighborhood! He was a great friend of my brother, Ken! Dick was a great guy and we always shared laughter! I loved his mom! She was a good friend of my mom! I knew his sisters, June and Dorothy well and their spouses and children! I saw Dicky a little over a year ago !
