He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Stowe and Edith Bonesteel (Hanson); and his grandson Nicholas Bonesteel. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Mark (Laura), Lori Harrington (Andy) and Paul (Denise); and his grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, Jenna, Andrew (A. J.), Savanna and Cassey.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Fridley Historical Society or Fridley Public Safety.
