He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kycia and Tecla Kycia; his brother Walter Kycia; his grandson Patrick Kycia; and his siblings-in-law, Greg Lytwyn and Diane Kycia.
He is survived by: his wife Rose-Marie; his children, Julian Kycia, Ándrea Kycia Miller (Randy) and Paul Kycia; his grandchildren, Adam, Tiffany (Tim), Ian, Julian, Olivia, Gabriel and Jude; and his sisters, Ollie Lytwyn and Alexandra Kycia. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church (515 University Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Epiphany Catholic Cemetery (1900 111th Ave NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433).
