With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Adelle Friske (Fridley, Minnesota), born in New Brighton, Minnesota, who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Marlene Adelle departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marlene Adelle. Though Marlene Adelle may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Swanson and Stella Swanson; and her sister Laverne Olson. She is survived by: her children, Barton Friske (Julia) and Maureen Colombo Andrea Friske (John); her grandchildren, Russell Friske (Shawna), Carmen Friske (James Griggs) and Nicholas Colombo; her sister Audrey Burr (Robert); her brother-in-law Dean Olson; and her husband Robert L Friske. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at the Sunset Memorial Park.
