She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Gillund and Palma Gillund; her husband Merlin; and her siblings, Carvel, Paul Gillund (Buddy) and Dorothy Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Hughes (Dave) of Coon Rapids, MN, Annette Beseman of Blaine, MN, Michael Beseman (Katie) of Elk River, MN and Paul Beseman (Jamie) of Blaine, MN; her grandchildren, Eric Hughes (Sahira), Amy Hughes, Heather Carlson (Ron), Carly Crawford (Ryan), Ben Beseman (Laura), Kallie Beseman (Deven Sunell) and Blake Beseman; her great grandchild Bryce Hughes; and her grandchildren, Nevaeh Hughes, Elysia Paugh, Summit, Valor, Caliber, Cedar Carlson, Cade, Callen Crawford, Genevieve and Waylon Beseman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be provided to either of Marion's church homes: Immanuel Lutheran Church, Crosby, MN or Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fridley, MN.
