He was predeceased by: his parents, Newell Risdall and Mary Risdall (Diebel); and his grandmother Vashti Risdall. He is survived by: his wife Tina Karelson; his children, Lily Risdall, Ted Risdall (Jennifer), Tim Risdall and Jennifer Risdall (Nick Bochek); his grandsons, Max and Alex Risdall; his former wife Cathy Stark Risdall; his brothers, Robert, Charlie and Bill Risdall; his cousin Bob Becker (Judy); his uncle Jim Diebel; and also Kelly Mapes. He is also survived by many other cousins and extended family.
