It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Kingland Hinsverk of Fridley, Minnesota, born in Hendricks, Minnesota, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Hinsverk and Gilma Hinsverk; and his siblings, Cleo, Donald, Evelyn and Lorraine.

He is survived by: his wife Marlys; his sister Dolores Bies; his children, John Hinsverk (Rosemary), Jennie Lodien (Steve) and Amy Sinclair (Steve); his grandchildren, Max, Gannon, Brooke, Callie, Paige (Luke), Lexi, Tori and Kati; and his great grandchild Eden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to North Hennepin Community College Foundation or St. Philip's Lutheran Church.
