It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Flanders in Fridley, Minnesota, born in Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Jeanette departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jeanette may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jeanette leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her foster parents, Martha Schreiber and Ferdinand Schreiber; and her siblings, Irene Bauer and Wally Schreiber. She is survived by: her husband Alvin Flanders; and her daughters, Juli Segerstrom (Bruce Segerstrom) and Kim Flanders. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
