He is survived by: his fiancée Jeanne Bass; his wife Jeanne Johnson (Bass); his daughter Sheryl Gonzalez (Vicente); his daughter-in-law Colleen Johnson (Larson); his siblings, Audrey Pritchard and David Johnson (Gerry); his sisters-in-law, Janice Johnson, Ardelle Johnson, Betty Johnson and Barb Bass; his brothers, Carl, Elmer and Marvin Johnson; his brothers-in-law, John Pritchard, Irving Borgstrom, Johnny Dobson and Bill Bass; his grandchildren, Kristina Tiessen, Michael Gonzalez (Jenny), Kayla Norcross (Justin) and Cole Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Katie, Jacob, Jackson Tiessen, Paige and Jonah Gonzalez.

For several years he dealt with Alzheimer's but he enjoyed life.
