It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth A. Doucette of Fridley, Minnesota, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lydia Engstrom and Clarence Engstrom; her birth father Lorenz Claussen; her sisters, Jeroldyn "Gerrie" Wagner and Gwen Holter; her children, Debrah Wenzel and Daniel Doucette; and her great grandchild Mila Hubble.
She is survived by: her husband Burton Doucette; her son David Doucette (Betsy) of Forest Lake, MN; her grandchildren, Nicholas Olson, Christopher Wenzel, Amber Hubble, Danielle Templeton, Betty Ellis, Elizabeth "Liz" Doucette, Ivy and Violet Doucette; and her great grandchildren, Magdalena "Maggie" Aldrich, Rory, Seath, Ollie Hubble, Julian, Zaiden Pulido-Barajas, Raena Templeton, Alexis Cook and Anders Ellis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
