She was predeceased by: her husband Bob. She is survived by: her children, Kam Metcalf, Peter and Laren Metcalf (Kim); her grandchildren, Michael, Briana Fernandez (Luke), Megan and Matthew; and her great grandchild Sophia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Humanist Association, Common Cause, League of Conservation Voters or Minnesota Lakes and Rivers Association.
