He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Greeta. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Todd Smasal (Deb), Troy Smasal (Towana) and Tammy Smasal; his grandchildren, Savannah, Brady, Joshua, Jacob, Alec and Emma; and his brother Robert (Diane). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
