He is survived by: his wife Janet Ostendorf of Freeport; his children, Michelle Flaata of Buffalo, Gail Ostendorf of St. Cloud and Nancy Valerius (Mike) of St. Joseph; his grandchildren, Brooke and Parker Flaata; his mother-in-law Viola Meyer; his siblings, Edward Ostendorf (Kathy), Evelyn Mohs (Harvey), Gerald Ostendorf (Mary), Eugene Ostendorf (Mary) and Rita Lomheim (Terry); and his sister-in-law Jackie Ostendorf.
