It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert A. Van Heel (Freeport, Minnesota), who passed away on December 12, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Heel and Agnes Van Heel (Notch); and his siblings, Elmer Van Heel, Leona Schloegl, Valeria Schrantz and Louise Minnette.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Van Heel of Freeport; his children, Steven Van Heel (Tina) of St. Anna, Sandra Haus (Duane) of Waconia, Michael Van Heel (Bonnie) of Sartell and Lois Nelson (Jamie) of St. Cloud; and his siblings, Marion Huschle of Bagley, Lorraine Bierschbach of Melrose, Art Van Heel (Dorothy) of Freeport, Fran Van Heel of Roseville, Virg Van Heel (Joann) of Loveland and Bernice Roering of Albany. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
