We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2022, at the age of 88, Marjorie Beste of Freeport, Minnesota, born in Elrosa, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Illies; her stepmother Hilda Illies (Rieland); her siblings, Wilfred Illies, Donald Illies, James Illies and Lillian Illies; her sister-in-law Viola Illies; and her stepsiblings, Bert Rieland, Ronald Rieland, Roman Rieland (Millie), Orville Rieland and Margie Spanjers (Bob).
She is survived by: her husband Al Beste of Freeport; her children, Jane Pixley (Craig) of Eden Prairie, John Beste (Yvonne) of Freeport, Tom Beste of Crosslake and Joan Klaphake (Karl) of Spicer; her sister Lois Williams (Phil); her sister-in-law Colette Illies; and her stepsister Lailah Simmer (Jim). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to CentraCare Care Center (Pine Villa) and CentraCare Hospice.
