He was predeceased by: his son Andrew Ettle; and his siblings, Evelyn Ettl, Alfred Ettl, Rose Gangl and Elizabeth Novak.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadine Beuning; and his siblings, Ann Tschida, Marcella Koopmeiner (Sally), Delores Miller and Arthur Ettl. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
