He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Meyer; his children, Ryan (Cassie) of St. Augusta, Stacey Backhaus (Jordan) of Deer Creek and Troy of Freeport; his granddaughters, Anastasia and Josephine Backhaus; his siblings, Steve (Terri) of Sauk Centre, Dan of Sauk Centre, Mary Lou Schaefer (Mark) of Sauk Centre and Deb Osmundson (Todd) of Fargo; his mother-in-law Mary Ann Meyer of Lake Henry; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
