She was predeceased by: her husband Aloys Schmidt; her daughter Joyce Schmidt; and her brothers, Stanley George, Jerome George and Raymond George.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Schmidt (Bernice) of Freeport, Harold Schmidt (Deb) of Grey Eagle, Ron Schmidt (Becky) of Burtrum, Cheryl Harren (Jim) of Freeport and Dennis Schmidt of Brainerd; and her sister Alvina Breth of Albany. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
