She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brekke and Caroline Brekke (Fisher); her children, Tim, Mike Jr., Marty and Rita; her grandson Austin; and her siblings-in-law, Ron Balvitsch and Barb Hofer.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Hofer; her children, Teresa Wallace (Mike) of Lastrup, Bruce Hofer (Sandy) of Frazee, Shane Hofer of Council Bluffs and Lynn Rennecke (Scott) of Hawley; her siblings, Meg Balvitsch and Gloria Dorrow (Dick); and her brother-in-law Patrick Hofer. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
