He was predeceased by: his parents, Isacki Yliniemi and Aili Yliniemi (Haanpaa); and his brothers, Roy (Hazel M.) and James Edward. He is survived by: his wife Miriam; his children, Chae Norman (Brian) of Sartell, MN, Mia Reynolds (Troy) of Bagley, MN, Eno Yliniemi of Renton, WA and Isak Yliniemi of Frazee, MN; his grandchildren, Tyler Norman, Brooke Norman and Mateo Reynolds; and his sisters, Helen Laine of Detroit Lakes, MN, Hazel A. Yliniemi, Huldy Sannes (Bruce) of Frazee, MN and Patricia Ervasti (Arlan) of Bertha, MN. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and innumerable friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Spruce Grove Apostolic Lutheran Church.
