With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Conklin of Frazee, Minnesota, born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on January 29, 2022 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alvin Conklin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gordon (Mae), Leon, Lester, Clifford (Edna), Floyd (Norma), Orval, Marvin, Wayne (Doris), Alice and Vera; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Bergstrom, Alvin, Gene Feldt, Allen Elijah, Darwin Axdahl and Marvin Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Feldt; his children, Rhonda Fiereck (Steve) of Detroit Lakes, Shelly Bachman of Big Lake, MN, Lori Wolfe (Darrin) of Charlestown, IN and Monte of Crookston, MN.; his grandsons, Kenny Fiereck (Crystal), Brandon Conklin, Tyler Conklin, Evan Bachman (Chloe), Nathan Bachman and Landon Christensen; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Summer and Toby Fiereck; his children, Sandra Dean and Kyle McKnight; his siblings, Donald Conklin of Gilbert, MN and Joann Eliassen of Detroit Lakes; and his siblings-in-law, Gladys McKnight (Terry), Dorothy Elijah, Janet Anderson, Barbie Maneval (Robin), Deb Axdahl, Donald Bergstrom, Dale Feldt (Judy), Jim Feldt (Peggy), Jon Feldt (Sherry) and Brian Feldt (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers Alvin's family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
