He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Fischer and Martha Bremer Fischer; his siblings, Frances Kennard (Lester Johnston), Ruth Herbst (Louis), Rose Ebeltoft (Bill) and Martin "Bud" Fischer; his brothers-in-law, Duane "Bud" Haas (Grace Hert) and Donald Haas (Jean); his wife Helen "Larene" Haas of LeMars, Iowa.; his daughter Lori; his son-in-law Donald Thorp; his grandsons, Martin (Toni McHugo) of Frazee and Roger (Kayla Andersen) of Frazee; his stepgrandson Samuel Thorp (Loreal); and also Tracy Foster. He was also cherished by several nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
