He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Steffen and Florence Steffen (Kropp); his wife Diane Steffen; and his brothers, Orlo Steffen, Larry Steffen and John Steffen.
He is survived by: his children, Stacy Dickman of Redwood Falls, Brian Steffen (Rachel) of Akron, Ohio, Jason Steffen of Wabasso, Jennifer Sorensen (Andrew) of Redwood Falls and Michael Steffen of Redwood Falls; his grandchildren, William Steffen, Logan Steffen and Cayden Steffen; and his sister Faye Vanderlouw of New Ulm.
