Gerald Zempel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2024, at the age of 82, Gerald Zempel of Franklin, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vern Zempel and Mabel Zempel (Fenske); his wife Nancy Roper; his grandchildren, Andrew (Sydney), Colton, Dylan, Derek, Courtney (Marcus), Olivia, Lilly, Thomas and Gavin; his great grandchild Kinsley; his in-laws, Henry and Elizabeth; his grandson Ryan; and also Fenske.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (110 E 2nd Ave, Franklin, MN 55333). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Luke's Church or Franklin Fire and Ambulance Service.
