He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Neitzke and Flora Neitzke (Haessig); his wife Elaine M. Heckman; his son Bruce; and his siblings, Maurice, Lois and Shirley.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Neitzke and Shari Greseth (Wade) of Hill City, S. D.; and his grandchildren, Cori, Niki and Ashley. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
He fought a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease and cancer.
