He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burris and Annie Burris (Krumpos); his wife Arlis Burris; his parents-in-law, Ole and Ruth Underberg; his siblings-in-law, James Underberg, Judy Underberg and Louise Burris; his siblings, Robert Burris, George Burris Jr. and Anne Marie Burris; and his granddaughter Katie Michele Burris.
He is survived by: his son Roger (Lynn); his grandchildren, Alli, Abbi (Trey Buchholz) and Anna (Dalton Trottier); his children, Kris Wanner (Brian), Jacob and Darci Bohn (Scott); his grandchildren, Zachary (Kenzie), Hannah (Gonzo Macabeo) and Adam; his son Steve (Tammie); his grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor (Alec Sampson) and Jordan; his great grandchildren, Liam Burris, Logan Buchholz, Stevie Buchholz and Hadley Sampson; and his brother Patrick Burris (Janet Nissen).
