He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Nesvold and Lucille Nesvold (Paulson); his brother Gordy; his brother-in-law Joe Dewandler; his grandson Isajah Carlson; and his nephew Daniel Nesvold.

He is survived by: his children, Angela Hanson (Chad) of Fosston, Samantha Nesvold (Kris Bakken) of Fosston, Chris Foldoe (Haven) of Lengby, Alisha Carlson of Coon Rapids, MN, Joseph Foldoe of Fosston, Christopher Nesvold of Crookston and Robert Nesvold (Kari) of Little Falls, MN; and his siblings, Sue Ehn (Dennis) of North Branch, MN, Lyle Nesvold of Fosston, Rodney Nesvold (Terry) of Severn, MD, Karen Dewandler of Moorhead, MN, Marilyn Briggs of Fosston, Joan Nesvold of Mantorville, MN and Nina Nesvold of Coon Rapids, MN.. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews and cousins.
