It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David C. Berg (Fosston, Minnesota), who passed away on January 25, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Mavis Johnson Berg; his spouse Elaine Kerssen; his sons, Shawn (Allison) of Jacksonville, FL, Donavin (Jeri Lynne) of Roberts, WI, Justin Plante (Jackie) of Mahnomen, MN and Derrick Plante (Shira) of Hudson, WI; his siblings, Barb Faldet (Steve) of McIntosh and Barry Berg (Louise) of Moorhead, MN.; his significant other John T. Jelek of Rush City, MN; his father Curtis Berg; his sister Pam Bigelow; his father-in-law Harold Geiselhart; and his uncle Odell Johnson. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
