It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Graftaas of Fosston, Minnesota, born in Bagley, Minnesota, who passed away on August 3, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Graftaas and Julia Graftaas (Kise); his daughter Carla Jo; his brother Stanley; and his grandparents, John, Beret Graftaas, Albert and Anna Kise.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Paulson; his sons, Brian Graftaas (Jodi) of Dilworth, MN and Eric Graftaas (Stephanie); his granddaughter Megan; his siblings, Ray Graftaas (Kay), Bernice Magnussen, Phyllis Jacobson and JoAnn Garcia (Ruben); and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Paulson (Janice) and Kathy Spears. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Because of space limitations due to COVID-19, you are encouraged to participate in one of the following: 9:00 am visitation with family and viewing at Samhold Lutheran Church in Gonvick, funeral service at 10:30 am at the church with Pastor Jane Ekholm officiating, and Albert will be buried at the Samhold Lutheran Cemetery in Gonvick following the service.
