He was predeceased by: his wife Geneva "Genny"; and his brother Eugene. He is survived by: his children, Jason (Rhonda), Joseph (Pennie) and Julie Broscoff (Kent); his grandchildren, Rev. Christian (Leah), Elizabeth Fuglestad (Derek), Martha, Jacob, Magdalena, Samuel, Jonas (Madison), Andrew and Ava; and his great grandchildren, Flora, Henry, Isabelle, Morgan, Chloe, Javier, Vincent and Victor.

Memorials may be given to Bloomington Lutheran School or St. Croix Lutheran Academy.
