He was predeceased by: his parents, Mercelyn Larson Otley and Francis Otley. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer; his grandson Joe; his daughter Elizabeth (Nathan); his sister Judy McNamara (Ken); and his nieces and nephews, Kari, Tori and Kevin (Nicole). He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred in Lyman's name to the Salvation Army.
