He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Overman; and his brother Gerald. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Overman (Roering); his wife Mitzi; his daughters, Kim Waldt (Mike) and Kaitlin Overman (Ryan Reuss); his granddaughters, Parker and Kennedy Waldt; and his sister Joanne Milam. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated.
