With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Michael Sherer in Fort Snelling, Minnesota, who passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald L. Sherer and Viola Sherer (Meier); his siblings-in-law, Marie Sherer, Tim Waters and Ken Pekarek; his nephew Jim Meier; and his great-niece Breanna Burvee.

He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Pekarek, Roger Sherer, Bob Sherer, Jack Sherer (Pat), Gail Burvee (Steve) and Bonnie Waters. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews; 27 great nieces and nephews; and 13 great great nieces and nephews.
