He is survived by: his wife Debra Kohnen of Foreston; his children, Mike Maas (Kori) of Watkins, Tammy Clausen (Eric) of South Haven, Jesse Novacek of Nashwauk and Patrick Novacek (Tina) of South Haven; his grandchildren, Taylor (Gina), Tucker, Allyssa, Rylee, Daisy, Melanie, Lydia and Gabe; his siblings, Kevin Novacek (Carol) of Buffalo and Karin Musolf of St. Michael; and his mother-in-law Alicia Kohnen of Cold Spring. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
