He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Steele and Lucille H. Steele; and his daughter Sharon Langdon. He is survived by: his wife Angela Steele (Schroepfer); his daughters, Renee Dallin and Jacqui McKenzie (Dietrick Sr.); his grandchildren, Kayla, Lila, Dietrick Jr., Allen and Alexander; and his brother Robert (Martha). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
