He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Jo; his son Jeffrey; and his siblings, Janet Knowlan, John, Carol Holguin and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Stephanie McCarthy (Tom), Roy (Colleen), Brian Aubrey (Kelly), Andrew, Daniel (Kim), Joseph (Katie) and Michael (Liz); his daughter-in-law Danica; and his stepchildren, Sue Haupt (Dave), Cathy Skoglund, Tom Skoglund (Mel), Carol Suess (Tim) and Paul Skoglund. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials preferred to Cretin-Derham High School, Hill-Murray School or Lakes Life Care Center.
