He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo "Skip" and Margaret Swanson (Voelker). He is survived by: his former wife Julia May Honken; his wife Julie; his children, Rhonda Swanson of Haugen, Cathie Tiegs (Rueben) of Cumberland, Bridget Rumphol (David) of Eau Claire and Scott Swanson (Jill) of Chippewa Falls; and his siblings, Gary Swanson, Donnie Swanson, Terry Swanson (Juanita), Vicki Denning (Scott) and Ricki Blaeser (Al). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
