He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pitzl and Marjory Pitzl; his son Gregory "Greg" Pitzl; his sister Diane Carlson; and his siblings-in-law, Lillian Petersen and Lawrence Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pitzl (Wright); his sisters, Kathy Joyce and Sandy Vogel (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Meyer (Don), Lillian Wright and Mike Wright (Anita). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a dementia charity of choice.
